So, Mac Lovers can now be lambendili too : Hesperides integrates Didier's Sindarin dictionary, distributed on his web site as a XML file, with a state-of-the-art Mac OS X interface and the Narmacil engine (to display the words using Tengwar).

Hesperides 1.2.3 requires Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks or later to run. You can also download Hesperides 1.2 which is PPC-only but supports Mac OS X 10.3 Panther or 1.2.1 which requires 10.5 but is Intel-compatible.

Some tidbits :

Hesperides is free software ; it is distributed under the terms of the BSD License. The source code is available via Git on GitHub. (You can also download an archive on the GitHub page).

What's new

Hesperides 1.2.3 stops "update available" windows when there is no update available, and fixes the fonts to make them installable with Font Book on macOS High Sierra.

Hesperides 1.2.2 is updated for OS X Mavericks and Yosemite.

Hesperides 1.2.1 (released on April 10th, 2010) adds Intel and 64-bit support, and requires Mac OS X 10.5 in order to reduce the executable size. It also fixes a bug where one could select the "Sindarin Classic" mode when an English word was selected.
